Join our reading group

In the Small Matters reading group we explore multispecies death by reading texts from death and queer death studies, posthuman and feminist theory and environmental philosophy, sociology and education, with a focus on the ‘small’ (e.g. children, other small animals and nonhuman creatures).

Please join if you are interested in multidisciplinary pondering around death and dying! We collaboratively decide on which texts to read: lately we have been fascinated by Sarah Coombs’ book Young People’s Perspectives on End-of-Life and previously we read Nina Lykke’s Vibrant Death.
